How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with FINREIT Construction.

This Privacy Policy explains how FINREIT LLC, doing business as Finreit Construction (“FINREIT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit finreit.com, contact us, request an estimate, or communicate with us by phone, email, text message, or in person. This policy is written in plain language for general information and is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

FINREIT is a Florida Certified General Contractor (license CGC1533570) based in Tampa, Florida, providing ground-up commercial, light industrial, and select residential construction in the Tampa Bay area.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Website forms: your name, company, email address, phone number, project location, project type, budget or timeline, and any details or files you choose to send.
  • Calls, texts, and email: your phone number, email address, and the content of your messages.
  • In person: contact details and project information you share at a meeting, site visit, or event.
  • Subcontractors and vendors: business name, trade, contact details, license and insurance information you submit to work with us.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, we and our service providers collect standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring website, approximate location (city or region), and the date and time of your visit. We use Google Tag Manager and related analytics tools, which may set cookies or use similar technologies, to understand how the site is used and how visitors contact us (for example, when a phone or email link is clicked).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, although some measurement features may not.

3. How we use your information

  • To respond to your questions and requests and to prepare bids, estimates, and proposals.
  • To schedule and confirm site visits, meetings, and appointments.
  • To plan, manage, and perform construction work, including permitting, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • To send project updates, reminders, and other service messages by phone, email, or text message, as described below.
  • To send marketing or promotional messages, only where you have agreed to receive them.

  • To keep records, protect our rights, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business and serve you:

  • Service providers that help us operate, such as website hosting, email, phone and text messaging, analytics, and records management. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, and inspectors who need project details to perform or support the work you have asked us to do.
  • Legal and safety reasons: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, to respond to government or permitting authorities, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FINREIT, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers: if FINREIT is involved in a merger, sale, or reorganization, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

The text-messaging exclusion in Section 5 applies to all of the sharing described above.

5. SMS / text messaging

Consent (opt-in)

We send text messages only to people who have given us express consent to receive them. You may give consent by:

  • submitting a form on our website that includes a text-message consent checkbox or consent statement;
  • telling us by phone that you agree to receive text messages; or
  • giving consent in person, for example at a meeting or site visit, which we record.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of doing business with us.

Types of messages

  • Appointment and site-visit reminders and confirmations.
  • Project updates and scheduling.
  • Follow-ups on bids, estimates, and proposals.
  • Marketing or promotional messages, only if you have given separate consent to receive them.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies based on your project and requests. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.

How to opt out or get help

Replying STOP ends all text messages from us to that number. After you reply STOP, we may send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You can opt in again at any time by contacting us.

Mobile information is never shared for marketing

We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, text-messaging opt-in data, or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all information sharing described in this policy. Mobile information may be shared only with the service providers that deliver our text messages on our behalf.

Carrier disclaimer

Wireless carriers (for example, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to complete and support a project, to meet warranty, tax, licensing, and other legal and record-keeping obligations, and to resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No website, email, or text-message transmission is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as bank account or Social Security numbers through our website forms or by text.

8. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your choices

  • Text messages: reply STOP at any time.
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email us.
  • Cookies and analytics: adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
  • Access, correction, and deletion: you may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to information we must keep by law or to complete a contract.

10. State privacy rights

Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights over your personal information. Some state privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and the Florida Digital Bill of Rights, apply only to businesses that meet certain size or revenue thresholds, and we do not claim that any particular law applies to us. Regardless, we honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete your information, and we do not sell personal information. California residents may also ask us how we have shared personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for making a privacy request.

11. Third-party links

Our website may link to other websites, such as partner, supplier, or map sites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please review their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes to how we handle text-messaging consent will not apply to you without your consent where the law requires it.
